Location: London

Salary: £45k - £51k



Purpose of the Role: Digital Insights Manager

Overall accountability for our digital analytics platforms. Role exists to deliver reporting and insight on KBIs, to measure value generated by change and to propose improvement ideas/generate hypotheses for testing for the digital squads. Educate and drive squads to use digital analytics tools to measure their success and to generate ideas. Manage traditional web analytics tools such as Google analytics and voice of the customer tools like Medallia. Deliver implementations of new digital insights tooling and define tagging requirements for new initiatives.


Key Responsibilities Digital Insights Manager:


Digital Analytics

  1. Generate reports on business KBIs for the digital space.
  2. Provide guidance to squads on tagging requirements so success criteria can be measured.
  3. Measure value of change.
  4. Carry out deep reviews of digital insight and feed requests into the squads for improvements.
  5. Educate and drive squads to use analytics tools to measure their success and to generate ideas.
  6. Collaborate with Head of Digital Innovation to identify areas to target with innovation.
  7. Collaborate with Digital Director to identify opportunities to improve Digital P&L.
  8. Expert level skills on traditional tools such as Excel.

Experience, Knowledge & Expertise – Essential Digital Insights Manager

  1. Significant, demonstrable knowledge, skills, and experience in digital analytics.
  2. Experience of analytics deployments on new websites and other digital products.
  3. Proven experience of working in a fast-paced digital function.
  4. Proven delivery experience in a complex IT environment with a high volume of change.
  5. Familiar with a variety of digital platforms/tools (CMS, analytics etc)
  6. Demonstrable knowledge and skills using traditional tools like Excel.
  7. Experience of working in scrum.
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliveries simultaneously.
  9. An accomplished, credible, and respected professional with well-developed stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills gained in a complex organisation.
  10. Thorough understanding of iterative development, incremental delivery, and software development processes/lifecycle.
  11. Collaborative working style with a clear and relentless focus on delivering outcomes.
