Job Description: Enterprise Cloud Account Executive

Join a dynamic and high performing team of dedicated sales professionals solving complex and high impact commercial and public sector enterprise digital transformation challenges. We are seeking sales account specialists with deep experience in cloud solutions, large commercial and public sector enterprise digital transformation, and solution sales. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of cloud technologies, cloud solutions, workload placement in the public cloud [IaaS and PaaS], and cloud industry players and partners.


This is a strategic and critical role, a successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and a successful track record selling to large enterprises or public sector customers and decision makers, industry cloud partners, and the ability to operate in a highly matrixed sales organization. You will be part of an enterprise and public sector sales team that will refine our cloud value proposition and sales practices.

This is a quota-based sales role in the UK Enterprise and Public Sector Sales Team.

In this commissioned and technical sales role, a successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving the adoption and preference for our cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and cloud solutions.
  • Cultivate, educate, and engage senior-level decision makers responsible for determining and selecting workload placement with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Cloud services [IaaS and PaaS].
  • Manage our engagement with peer technical sales executives from partner CSP's [cloud service providers] and iSV [software vendors] to drive the preference of workload placement and adoption on our instances and solutions.
  • Understand the customers business use cases for cloud, the technical merits of cloud vs. on premise, and the TCO value proposition; identify gaps or opportunities and execute sales strategies that result in wining and deploying solutions on our Cloud Solutions.


In addition to that the successful candidate will:

    • Employ 'solution and consultative based selling' to influence customers decisions toward the best our cloud solutions.
    • Have experience in supporting large scale complex enterprise solutions decision making on 3rd party cloud solution provider platforms. (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Cloud software solution stacks including compute, orchestration, infrastructure management, as well as storage and networking solutions.
    • Possess knowledge of Cloud computing, containerization technologies/Kubernetes, database design, data warehousing, ETL/data ops, and security
    • Exhibit a solid understanding of Datacenter hardware and software trends and solutions.
    • Work in a collaborative team environment, within the account team and with business unit and partner teams, coordinating the right resources to produce preference for our brand.
    • Be the voice of the customer; encapsulate customer-/market-feedback into the business-units/development teams to shape future product/technologies and customer engagement.
    • Stay current and familiar with emerging vertical and horizontal technologies, products and technology trends
    • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills and ability to build strong relationship at all levels internally and externally.

 

Qualifications: Enterprise Cloud Account Executive

  • 5+ years of strong track record and experience in successful enterprise consultative sales, delivering sales or marketing programs to accomplish joint business objectives and solution selling.
  • Knowledge of the ISV players, solutions, and our product offerings within the cloud ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical or business field
  • Certification from a top hyperscale cloud provider preferred
  • Motivation and desire to make a significant positive impact on customers trying to solve complex problems.
