Salary: Up to £56,500 (DOE) + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

We're looking for an experienced Estimating Manager / Contracts Manager to join our team.


The Role - Estimating Manager / Contracts Manager

The Managed Solutions division of our Energy Solutions business is primarily involved in installing External Wall Insulation systems to properties throughout the UK. Our Estimating Manager / Contracts Manager is responsible for the pre-contract estimating, commercial management and administration of contracts to ensure successful delivery of our Energy related projects. You’ll support the delivery of departmental KPIs and objectives, such as savings in total cost of ownership, value engineering and safety performance. Being the lead in the tendering and estimating process, you’ll have the drive and tenacity to achieve the best value for money solution for our clients and be responsible for any post-contract activities.


Your Skills and Experience - Estimating Manager / Contracts Manager

Demonstrable pre-contract experience of estimating, preparing tender documents, tendering and contractor negotiation is required, as is post-contract experience of valuation, cost reporting and final accounting. A background in the External Wall Insulation industry and related Energy measures / ECO knowledge would be massively beneficial as would detailed knowledge of the supply chain in respect to the delivery of these measures.

Effective organisation and planning skills are crucial, as is having an enthusiastic and driven but flexible approach to work. You’ll be capable of building and managing strong relationships with various stakeholders with the credibility and ability to challenge and influence them when required. As you will be travelling to different sites, a full driving licence is essential.
