Location: London Hybrid

Salary: £43k to £50k

 

 

JOB PURPOSE: Group Marketing Manager

To plan and implement global marketing strategies to build brand awareness and revenue driving initiatives for our Technologies for Learning and Research (TLR) portfolio. This role will work closely with marketing, sales, corporate communications, and VP Product Innovation and our TLR Portfolio businesses to rebrand and relaunch TLR to the academic library community in our biggest markets.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Group Marketing Manager

• Execute marketing strategy globally to create brand awareness of our Technologies for Learning and Research portfolio-create a major splash about us entering this space

• Plan and roll out events including webinars and a podcast series bringing together library thought leaders and education tech start-ups

• Reposition portfolio in the market, with updated messaging, collateral, and website presence

• Work closely with corporate communications on brand awareness, interviews with industry press, conference presence, and sponsorships

• Multi-channel marketing strategies including email campaigns, videos, advertising (online), and social media

• Work with Marketing functions in each of the TLR portfolio businesses to implement co-marketing strategies and initiatives and to amplify their core marketing messages and news

• Analyze data reports to adjust strategies

• Deliver regular status reports on activities both planned and completed and their impact to track performance and create business awareness, and learn by doing to continuously improve your marketing strategy and activities to achieve our business goals

 

 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Group Marketing Manager

• Significant experience working within marketing; planning, implementing, brand awareness, using campaign measurement tools to make strategic recommendations that optimize results.

• Experience at a Software as a service (SAAS) provider, and or a tech startup, and an entrepreneurial mindset is a plus

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong technical aptitude; able to identify ways to use technology to solve problems.

  • Strong communication skills including delivery of presentations and building stakeholder relationships.
  • Effective project management skills.

• Experience of working with an assigned budget and tracking costs.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly adaptable to change, able to change course at short notice, and comfortable working in a fluid environment
  • A self-starter, able to shape and inform their own priorities.
