Our Group Change team are responsible for delivering large, complex, strategic transformational change across THE COMPANY. We work hard to help the business implement and embed sustainable change, to ensure a focus on continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and achieving key objectives.

What is the Role

Reporting to the Director of Group Efficiency, this role is focussed on helping THE COMPANY improve profitability through increased process efficiency and reduced costs. Working as part of the Group Lean team in a rewarding and collaborative environment the role will drive deployment of a Continuous Improvement culture and a focus on Process Excellence across the  group businesses.

As Lean Delivery Manager, you will be specifically responsible for the development and execution of the Lean deployment strategy for your process area; this includes facilitating leadership teams through analysis of their value streams; selection and prioritisation of focus areas; business case development; delivery of improvement projects and coaching of functional teams in Lean and Six Sigma techniques.

You will work with our senior leaders to develop plans in support of divisional Lean deployment ambitions. You will also lead high value strategic initiatives across business teams and operating groups and be responsible for developing and managing delivery plans within time, quality and cost constraints. As well as managing the projects, your responsibilities will also extend to driving cultural change towards productivity and efficiency focus and in improving skills and confidence of operational managers in Continuous Improvement techniques.

What do I need?

Either accredited or working towards a Six Sigma Black Belt, you will be an expert in Lean Six Sigma methods and techniques, with extensive experience of business process modelling and re-engineering, facilitating problem solving workshops, delivering training and coaching up to Green Belt, and ensuring benefits realisation.

You must have strong demonstrable experience of Continuous Improvement development, deployment and delivery in a customer focused, high volume business as well as strong Lean training, coaching and mentoring experience. You will have a strong track record of engaging and inspiring others to collaborate on e2e process improvements and adopt Lean ways of working every day.

You will be experienced at analysing process performance to design and deliver a coherent portfolio of projects and training activity to drive improvements. You will have strong strategic planning, time management and prioritization skills as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities.

You must have an engaging communication style and experience in presenting complex data to all levels of leadership. The ability to motivate, develop and empower teams to successfully deliver the development of Lean Six Sigma will be crucial in enabling you to create a positive change culture.
