JOB PURPOSE: Product Manager - Enterprise Web

Our corporate websites are the shopfront for our brand and product portfolio as well as an important part of the sales workflow for our core business. The Enterprise Web Product Manager will be responsible for the vision and mission of our US, UK, India, APAC and Corwin corporate websites and delivering on these. They will be responsible for creating a roadmap, defining the required budget and resources needed to deliver our website, defining key objectives (including revenue targets) and proactively communicating back to the business the progression towards these goals.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Product Manager - Enterprise Web

• Ownership of our Global, US College, roadmap India, APAC and Corwin corporate websites, strategy, and

• Drive the strategic development of the website in line with the business needs, inform prioritization, resolving decisions that cannot be made by business web managers, and vocally support and advocate the integration of backend systems for the importance of the web across roadmaps

• Understand the customer journey throughout the product lifecycle by immersion in user research and analytics

• Position the web appropriately in the full marketing funnel, including the interplay between Martech stack and the web, and the web and other channels leading to conversions or other goals

• Ensure sprint schedules meet needs of the overall Product Roadmap

• Identify key items for user testing, drawing insight from web analytics to ensure the site meets customer needs

• Review data outputs (e.g. traffic, requests for complimentary copies) from the website to assess success of development work performed, and to inform new product development initiatives.

• Use Google Analytics to gain insight around the voice of the customer

• Actively learn from what is delivered to evolve processes and communications as well as the product

• Building lasting partnerships with other Product Managers, business leads, and other stakeholders, developing creative solutions and driving decisions, and act as the voice of the Portfolio Project Manager in appropriate meetings

• Work with portfolio team members to grow the competence of the organization around the delivery of value and realization of benefits

• Work with other Product Managers to optimize user workflows between the corporate website and other product sites

• Maintain and develop an awareness of competitors and websites both within the publishing industry and more broadly

 

 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Product Manager - Enterprise Web

• Experience building a web roadmap, balancing competing interests, and defining the mission and vision for a corporate website required

• Strategic decision-making, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances

• Experience developing products working with cross-functional teams, including technology, sales, editorial and/or marketing representatives

• Analytics experience highly desirable, with ability to interpret data to inform business decisions

• Ability to work with Senior level customers, both internally and externally

• Strong influencing and communication skills

• Positive and lean approach to work

• Passion for technology whilst keeping the voice of the customer at the forefront

• Project management skills and experience

• Experience working with Web CMS, JIRA, Confluence required
