Job summary:

We are looking for a commercially driven and experienced Senior Marketing Manager who can help shape and drive our small, but effective marketing team to drive real results for us on terms of growth n deposit numbers, customers and profits. Report to the Director of Business Development. Will manage: Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, Lead Graphic Designer, Press and PR Officer [to be reviewed][, Content writer, outsourced Digital Marketing agency.

 

 

Core responsibilities include:

 

  • Develop, review and revise a comprehensive marketing strategy in support of the Group’s Strategic Plan, including, content, PR, digital, marketing, advertising, communications, creative and design branding, positioning and pricing strategies.

 

  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing team including producing quarterly and annual hiring plans. Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives.

 

  • Set, monitor and report on team goals both weekly and in monthly Board performance reports.

 

  • Ensure the brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)

 

  • Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas to identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

 

  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features) and ensure that we are ‘ahead of the game’.

 

  • Working closely with the Sales team to coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness. Successfully plan and execute different projects and campaigns effectively generating new deposits in line with set targets and objectives.

 

  • Being the first point of contact for our PR partners and marketing suppliers.

 

  • Managing staff and outsourced agencies to ensure that all internal and external digital marketing, content, copy and design deadlines are met, and that event coordination and administrative duties are completed accurately, and any planned events run smoothly

 

  • Working with the content writer to develop and contribute to accurate and relevant content with the for numerous print and digital projects including articles, blogs, press releases, newsletters, social media, documents, brochures, adverts, reports, flyers, e-shots, email campaigns and web banners.

 

  • Exploring new ways of engaging with our customers, such as webinars, video, podcasts and audio content.

 

  • Being the first point of contact for our PR partners, marketing suppliers and marketing lead for our strategic relationships.

 

  • Managing the outsourced Digital Marketing team to produce an effective digital marketing strategy clearly highlighting the return on investment.

 

  • Working with the Head of Innovation and other members of the Leadership Team to ensure that all new activities in support of our Innovation and Diversification activities are backed by an effective marketing plan.

 

 

2. Skills

  • BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field.
  • Experience as a Senior Marketing manager or higher, preferably within a similar sector.
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns with clear evidence of ROI.
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords, search engine optimisation.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals.
  • Analytical mind with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to handle a range of different tasks simultaneously and prioritise a heavy workload.
  • Must demonstrate common sense and good judgement.
  • A flexible attitude to work is essential.
