Be part of something exciting and join us as a Solution Architect working on the design and creation of scalable solution for a flagship Digital programme within the Life Sciences sector. This role is to be based out of Cambridge with a degree of flexibility around travel as required.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Solution Architect will engage in all aspects of the solution architecture, working across the Solution delivery lifecycle, typically providing technical input such as leading on technical design and development for laboratory solutions. The Solution Architect will look to understand and adhere to key requirements and regulations for overall laboratory solution architecture and essentially work closely with technical architects and BA’s to create scalable solution architecture.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The successful candidate must offer demonstrable Solution/System Architecture experience gained within the Life Sciences sector, most likely a pharmaceutical and/or biotech laboratory operations/research environment. The Solution Architect should be able accustomed to driving design and implementation of laboratory system architectures that adhere to the set ecosystem and be able to understand various laboratory systems, their integration and relation with Life Sciences-systems. Demonstrable experience of building scalable/compliant system architectures for Life Sciences laboratories is absolutely essential.
The Solution Architect will demonstrate keen problem-solving skills, experience working across the SDLC (solution delivery lifecycle) and be familiar with laboratory processes. He/she will be adept at close customer interaction, managing technical and business requirements for laboratory architecture and use technical/business feedback to re-design and/or re-implement laboratory architectures as needed. Good and relevant experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) is also key.
Finally a degree-educated background in a relevant discipline, along with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated familiarity with the software development process (e.g. requirements gathering, analysis/design, development tools, release/version control, testing and deployment) would be highly preferred.
