Job Title: Technical Lead

Salary: up to 60k

Location: Manchester

We are a company helping scientists to solve the most difficult biomedical  challenges.

We are looking for a Technical Lead/Senior Software Engineer candidate who can manage a team of 6 people.

WE NEED the candidate in the office for 5 days a week-hours can be flexible though.

Skills/ Abilities looking for

  • Minimum 5 years software experience.
  • An expert problem solver, both on paper and in code.
  • Driven by a desire for quality, pragmatic, a continuous learner & critical thinker.
  • Vastly experienced in end to end software development using multi-purpose languages like Java, Python, JavaScript or similar
  • Has hands-on expertise in user interface technologies (e.g. React, Angular or similar), server sided architectures and technologies like node, express, Spring and related tools and approaches.
  • Is familiar with data modelling and storage. Ideally, you have experience in Elasticsearch and graph databases such as neo4j on top of standard relational models.
  • Is experienced in machine learning or deep learning with a deep understanding of applied mathematics.
