Role overview

You are a customer obsessed, commercially driven leader with a clear product and growth vision. You have a strong background in commercial business leadership, consultancy and/or training and capability building service design. You have proven experience in leading high performing teams and consultancy and advisory projects to deliver market leading solutions in order to meet stretching commercial objectives. You are intimately familiar with the marketing communications landscape and have an impressive client-side rolodex. You are able to identify customer needs and use this insight to shape, scale and deliver compelling and flawlessly delivered consultancy, advisory and training programmes that retain business. Key Priorities

 

STRATEGY & VISION

● Responsible for defining the year-round, long term growth strategy for Advisory

● Responsible for establishing a clear vision and motivating and inspiring teams to deliver consistent results

 

PRODUCT

● Responsible for defining the product suite across all advisory and capability building products and services, and building the appropriate go-to-market strategy

● Responsible for constantly evolving the proposition to ensure that our Advisory products and services are recognised as market-leading in their category

● Responsible for forging complementary partnerships and drawing upon our access to world class experts, researchers and third party consultants in order to enhance our offering and showcase our pulling power and IP.

 

GROWTH & SALES

● Responsible for building out the in-house team and expert capability in order to scale the our Advisory business

● Responsible for introducing and embedding a sustainable sales funnel, and optimise team structure and processes for our consultancy offering

● Responsible for achieving stretching acquisition and retention targets and securing a superior NPS across all product delivery

 

Key accountabilities

● As the VP, Advisory you will work closely with the Managing Director to set the vision and strategy for the our Advisory global product suite. You will be accountable for the flawless delivery and end to end execution of that vision

● You will create relevant and desirable products informed by robust customer insight that resonate with our customers – especially global brands

● You will over-deliver on stretching, annual targets and create a growth culture within your teams that ensures year on year, sustainable growth.

● You will work closely with stakeholders across the business matrix to create superior, operational customer experiences that complement the full product suite across the wider business. ∙ You will author and own the master project timeline for all global advisory activity and be across every customer project for quality and control purposes

● You will work closely with the marketing and brand teams to ensure that all products and services reflect our brand, values and purpose

● This role works as part of a senior level matrix across all departments. You will need to deliver the global Advisory strategy working across the matrix and be comfortable with matrix operations and flexible reporting lines

● You will work closely with our commercial teams to achieve superior product understanding and articulation and work with our commercial leads to create robust sales strategies

● You will identify, recruit and manage partnerships with high profile, third party consultants and manage all contractual agreements and IP negotiation

● You’re able to shut down detractors and distractions and accelerate and support growth driving initiatives

● You are driven, ambitious, self-directed and a consistent performer

● You are an accomplished public speaker and presenter and can build compelling narratives and pitch material.

● You are relatable, personable, empathetic but authoritative and have gravitas

● You are versatile and can do the back-room detail and data immersion as well as the big keynotes

● You find it easy to influence and persuade at all levels

● You’re able to get people excited about your vision and establish buy-in so people want to act upon, and deliver it for you

● You run a tight ship but you are excellent at building a strong culture and nurturing people and teams
